Sales + Channel BDM - IT: Managed Hosting Services

An experienced, well-networked, self-motivated business development manager required for a managed hosting services organisation.

The Role:
This role is for a self starter who can manage their own pipeline and pro-actively win business from a variety of direct, network and channel sources.

You will be expected to identify and qualify major opportunities for selling managed hosting services to corporate and government organisations. You will be responsible for generating a strong pipeline of new opportunities.

The role will involve:
  • Strong IT background, preferably prior experience within the managed web/application hosting industry.
  • Leads generation
  • Channel development
  • Development of strategic sales campaigns, driving the process through completion of the sales cycle.
  • Account management
  • Liaising technical/operations staff
  • Managing your sales pipeline, meeting agreed sales targets and providing accurate forecasts
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Being a team player
Pay Structure:
50-300K OTE. Payment is based on an attractive recurring commission generated through the contracted sales.

While a minimal base ($50,000 gross p.a.) will be provided initially, this is expected to be replaced by the ongoing sales commission generated from the sales made during the probation period.
